230 Coxwell

A Place to Call Home for Indigenous Men

Na-Me-Res is proud to introduce 230 Coxwell, a 20-unit housing project dedicated to providing deeply affordable homes for Indigenous men. As a trusted not-for-profit organization serving Toronto since 1985, we are committed to empowering Indigenous men through housing, skills training, and cultural reconnection.

This new development reflects our mission to foster healthy, self-determined lives rooted in a strong connection to Indigenous traditions and community.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

230 Coxwell will be a 20-unit apartment site where tenants will enter into a standard landlord-tenant lease agreement with Na-Me-Res.

The goal is to provide deeply affordable housing that supports residents in living independently and thriving as members of the community.

Indigenous men seeking stability and independence, offering them a safe and supportive place to live.

Residents are chosen through a standardized internal process to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for affordable housing.

While this is a standard landlord-tenant arrangement, support workers will assist clients to help ensure successful tenancy, similar to other Na-Me-Res housing projects.

The site was selected due to its proximity to transit, services, and community amenities that support everyday living.

Community members can email 230coxwell@nameres.org to learn more about the project.
