To provide confidential case management services including:
Addressing the basic needs of clients, Providing supports on the street and in various locations throughout the City, assisting clients in an effort to effectively live a life away from homelessness toward a more self-sufficient lifestyle., In an effort to create a continuum of care we offer support through an Indigenous Specific Aftercare to people who have made the transition from streets to homes.

Client Care Worker – Permanent Part Time Men’s Shelter 12am-12pm/Saturday & Sunday – Overnight

Location: Men's Residence, 14 Vaughan Road

As a Client Care Worker, you will work in partnership with members of the client care team to provide support and ensure the delivery of the client’s personal care plan which will address their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs.

Na-Me-Res is seeking the service of a consultant to research and design an programs and services for an Indigenous Men’s Managed Alcohol Program (MAP) Shelter, with Emergency Trauma Informed Harm Reduction Approach.This program will be implemented at the new Na-Me-Res Emergency Harm Reduction Indigenous Men’s shelter.  This will be the first Indigenous MAP shelter lead and operated by an Indigenous organization in Ontario.

Urban Indigenous Homelessness Knowledge Trainer Closing:  October 15, 2021, at 12noon.

Location: Administration, 26 Vaughan Road

Content development, researched, fact checked, and referenced information, Develop slide deck with presentation notes, manage and store information in an organized way, Deliver/present content in person and virtually (possibly co-present) Work directly with Na-Me-Res clients to empower them to share their experiences and develop content outlines that will support them in presenting content. Outreach to service organizations that would benefit from Indigenous knowledge exchange Build on existing relationships and use the networking resources for other Na-Me-Res programs to build new relationships to deliver training Develop and complete evaluation

Native Inmate Liaison Officer,Toronto South Detention Center  Closing:  Sept. 28, 2021 at 12noon

Location: Native Inmate Liaison Services

To provide liaison services between Indigenous clients and the community to ensure access to resources aimed at meeting their educational, employment, housing, health or other identified needs. Provide Indigenous culture awareness training for Ministry staff to encourage their awareness and understanding of Indigenous culture.
