Outreach Services

Gimme Shelter

Described as our "mobile counseling outreach to the homeless", this program focuses on the process of trust building amongst hard core homeless clients to ensure services to recovery are accessed in a timely manner. The Gimme Shelter van operates daily from 7am to 3pm with two counselors on board.

Housing/ Aftercare Department

Our Housing and Aftercare Department, located at 22 Vaughan Rd., offers there assistance to help residents and non-residents make there transition to become self-sufficient by obtaining permanent housing. All housing needs is meet by assisting in finding/ setting up landlord appointments, and securing a source of income.

Shelter Access

Established in 2002, Shelter Access focuses on the emergency transportation of homeless clients from the streets to shelters, detox, and out-of-the cold recovery centers.

Street Help

Through our outreach van, sandwiches, beverages, clothing and other essentials are delivered to the homeless on the streets Monday to Friday from 2:30pm to 10:30pm. Our outreach staff and volunteers deliver instant referral services to the homeless. Since it's inception in 1995, over 650,000 at risk and homeless people in the GTA have been able to access the basic necessities.
